Meet Firdose Moonda
Journalist, author, broadcaster, researcher. MA Traditions of Yoga and Meditation.

Firdose is an experienced sports writer, specialising in cricket and football, and with an interest in long-form writing. She is also a popular broadcaster and commentator. Firdose combines this with her work in yoga, where her research interests include body politics, embodiment and cultural practice.
With storytelling at the heart of her work, Firdose is particularly interested in the intersection of sport and society and the personalities behind the profession.
She holds a Masters degree in the Traditions of Yoga and Meditation from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, has taught on over 40 yoga teacher trainings, and has hosted panels at the Open Book Festival.
